Meet the Founders
We’re Hannah Anderson and Emma Cleary, Co Founders of Return to Bloome, close friends and mums living in different states.
Our idea for Return to Bloome grew from our own pelvic health experiences following the births of our daughters. We both use and self manage pessaries as part of our pelvic health care.
During one of our many phone calls, we found ourselves being vulnerable with each other about what we were going through, the emotions, the overwhelm and all the little things we suddenly had to think about when it came to our pelvic health.
And then there was another surprisingly simple question: where do we actually put our pessaries when we’re not wearing them?
Between us, we had transported our pessaries home from GP and pelvic health physio appointments wrapped in paper towel or in plastic sample bags, before finding ourselves reaching for containers from the kitchen once we got home.
They were practical solutions in the moment, but we realised there wasn’t a considered, dedicated home for storing and transporting something that had become part of our pelvic health care.
We wanted something simple and practical, with ventilation to promote airflow. A dedicated home for storing and transporting our pelvic health products.
That conversation became the beginning of Return to Bloome.
Our hope is that every woman fitted with a pessary has the option to purchase a dedicated storage case, either at the time of fitting or afterwards, helping to remove one more mental load decision during what can already be a vulnerable and overwhelming time.
Return to Bloome was created from lived experience, friendship and a shared belief that caring for your pelvic health products deserves the same thought and consideration as every other part of your care.
